The Life Game is a show that reminds us all, however ordinary, that we all have an extraordinary life story to tell. This month’s guest is Heather Pritchard.
About Heather Pritchard: Heather is a female food hero because of her passion and commitment to passing on the skills, land, partnerships, sustainable practices and biodiverse seeds to the next generation of farmers in British Columbia. She is a long time food activist and co-founder/farmer with Glorious Organics Co-op in the Fraser Valley. She is a pioneer and great mentor in the realms of alternative forms of land tenure (so that landless farmers can have access to land in the future,) connecting local farmers and eaters, local food supply micro-lending, young farmer training, local organic seed security and the marketing of organic seasonal salad mix. She is an inspiration to the current and next generation and says that she loves every kind of food, except for sea urchin.Contact:
