The Granville Island Cultural Society invites visual artists to submit a proposal to show their work in either The Waterfront Theatre or Performance Works lobbies.  Exhibitions may vary in duration between 6 – 8 weeks to coincide with venue programming throughout the year.

The Waterfront Theatre and Performance Works are located in the heart of Vancouver on Granville Island.  The theatres are a gathering place for people who come to see the creative and dynamic work of some of the best Theatre Companies and Festivals in Canada.  With over 80,000 people visiting our theatres each year, it is an ideal space for visual artists to showcase their work.

We are seeking a variety of artwork in various media types (please do not include sculpture or freestanding art).  Artwork must be able to hang from the wall and must be suitable for a family audience.  You are encouraged and welcome to sell individual works from your exhibit. The Granville Island Cultural Society receives a 20% commission on all works sold.
