| *Note:
Because weekly performance events take booking priority in the space,
there are limited single-night bookings available for private events
and parties. Those available single dates can be booked one year
in advance of the date desired based on a first-come, first-served
basis.

STAFFING:
Technician:
Renters are required to hire the Performance Works Venue Technician
at a rate of $26.00 per hour (minimum 4-hour call) for all productions
and events requiring the use of technical equipment.
Overtime rates are applied after 8 hours per day. $39.00 per hour after
8 up to 12 hours (time and a half) $52.00 /hour over 12 hours (double
time).
Front of House Staff: Depending on the complexity and specifics
of the event, renters may be required to hire the GICS front of house
Manager at a rate of $17.00 per hour to supervise when the public is
attending the event.
Non
Profit Rates:
discounted rates for registered non profit societies are available
THEATRE
IMPROVEMENT FEE(T.I.F.):
A Theatre Improvement Fee ($1.00 per ticket sold over $15.00, or $0.50
cents per ticket sold $15.00 and under) is levied on all ticketed performances
at Performance Works.
DEPOSITS DUE:
To confirm booking, a contract must be signed and deposit of $750.00
per week, or $750.00 per event for rentals less than one week submitted.
Deposit acts as a damage deposit and cost of any loss, damages or extraordinary
janitorial costs or staffing charges will be deducted from this amount.
Should damages/loss/staffing expenses exceed the damage deposit remitted,
client will be billed separately for balance. Deposit will be held until
all outstanding payments are made to GICS. Should cancellation occur
after signing contract, the deposit is forfeited
Total Rent due is payable SIXTY
DAYS prior to rental date.
SOCAN
Remittance:
Tariff # 8 Receptions, Conventions, Assemblies and Fashion Shows: Renters
planning on having music at their event must also remit to SOCAN. This
fee should be added on to your full rental payment, due sixty days prior
to your rental date.

CANCELLATION
POLICY:
120 Days notice of cancellation must be given in writing or the Presenter
will be required to pay the full rental rate for the period of the Contract.
Any cancellation after contract has been signed and deposit paid will
be subject to forfeit of their deposit.
