The Triangle SquareTriangle Square
This location is only available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Non-holiday Mondays from May 17to September 1, 2008. Weekends are reserved for the Summer Entertainment on Granville Island Program. Performers must ensure that neither they nor members of their audience block the entrance to La Baguette or obstruct the pathway beneath the awning in front of La Baguette.

 

The Market CourtyardMarket Courtyard
Market Courtyard "Pit" areaThe Market Courtyard includes the entire area north of the Public Market including the steps or "Pit" area.

 

 

 

 

The Fire Lane
The Fire LanePerformers must acknowledge that the Fire Lane provides emergency and delivery access and must not obstruct the movement of vehicles or persons. Performers must immediately cease performing and assist in clearing the area when an emergency vehicle nears the Fire Lane.

Loud performances are not permitted in the Fire Lane from Monday to Friday (holidays excepted). Performers who play loudly will be restricted from playing in the fire lane

Performers must ensure that the audience does not block or impede traffic in any way. Performers must actively move people forward, and off the roadway, throughout the entire performance. A non-performing member of the group may be needed to ensure that the audience does not occupy the roadway.

 

Railspur AlleyRailspur Alley
Due to the proximity of the Railspur Alley busking location to the Railspur Alley merchants, this is a non-amplified location. Performers here include balloon twisters, magicians and musicians playing acoustic music, wtih no amplification allowed.

 

 

The KegThe Keg
Performers must ensure that the audience does not block or impede traffic. Performers must actively move people forward, and off the roadway throughout the entire performance. Audience members should be inside the blue railings surrounding this location. A non-performing member of the group may be needed to ensure the audience does not occupy the roadway

 


The Ferry Landing
Located at the entrance for the False Creek Ferries, this is a fantastic summer spot, with a backdrop of the Burrard Street Bridge, downtown Vancouver and Cypress Mountain. Performers may set up in front of the False Creek Map on the boardwalk.
