Performers
must annually apply for and be granted permission, in the form of a pass, to perform
on Granville Island. Passes are valid for one year, as from May 1, 2008 until
April 30, 2009. A non-refundable processing and registration fee must be paid
in cash at the time of registration
Lost
passes must be replaced, and are subject to a nonrefundable, $15.00 processing
and registration fee. Passes are not transferable. If you want to upgrade your
Acoustic pass to an Amplified pass at a later date it is subject to a nonrefundable
$25.00 processing and registration fee.
GICS
reserves the right to limit the total number of passes available. Performers must
permit the GICS or its representatives, at their discretion, to conduct a criminal
records check. Performers must present the registration fee, picture identification
and address confirmation when registering. Performers must ensure that all registration
information remains current and notify GICS of changes to address or telephone
numbers.
Performers
under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian present when registering
and the parent or guardian must co-sign the registration form. Performers under
the age of 16 years must have a responsible adult accompanying them at all times
while performing on Granville Island.
